Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can I be seen?

I can typically see private patients within a week.

How do I make an appointment?

You can make an appointment by contacting the relevant hospital or clinic. Contact details can be found here.

What should I bring?

For your first appointment, it is useful if you bring a copy of your referral letter and any recent test results or relevant correspondence. If you are attending a follow up appointment, I will let you know if there is anything you need to bring.

Can my friend/ family member accompany me?

You can bring someone with you if you would like, but please do try to limit this to one other adult where possible. If any examinations are required, you are entitled to have a chaperone of the appropriate gender in the room with you if you want one. If there is nobody with you, this can be a member of staff. Please note that I am also entitled to require that a chaperone be present.
